Privacy policy
Data controller
KINDYZ collects the data needed for the application to work. Requests concerning personal data can be sent to the support team or to the privacy contact named in the application.
Data collected
This may include account information, your profile, photos, matching preferences, messages sent, settings, notifications, reports, and the city or position used for search.
Sensitive data
Neurotype, communication limits and sensory comfort are optional. Processing your neurotype requires separate, explicit consent, which you can withdraw in the settings.
Location
You can choose a GPS position or enter a city manually. Other members only ever see the city, the country and a rounded distance — never exact coordinates.
Profiling
The compatibility score can be turned off in the settings. When you object to profiling, personalised discovery is suspended.
Retention periods
Data is kept for as long as the service requires. Inactive accounts may be deleted after 24 months. Audit logs are kept for up to 2 years.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection to profiling, and withdrawal of consent for sensitive data.
Security
KINDYZ uses encrypted communications, secure token storage on mobile, password hashing, and role-based access controls.
